Happy New Year, Hi all my name is Tawanda go by Wanda.

I’m not new to the group but I shut down because my father was sick and he recently passed on November 4. Mentally I have not fully recovered and I don’t think I will. It’s a pain I have to live with. However working out will be part of my therapy and will make a huge difference. I look forward to this group inspiration and motivation in addition to Massey to get back on track with my mental and physical well being. Thank you in advance

    Hello Wanda,

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss; may your father’s soul rest in peace. I like to work out to sweat the funk out as well.

I’m relatively new here and planning to start my first program next week. My goal is to be consistent and finish the program. Are you planning on doing any yet?

    Hi yes

Thank you so much. Yesterday I started the elevate 1 and it was rough but I got through it. So I’m currently about to do the yoga portion of the program. How about you

Well done on pushing through it! My plan is to start next week with Elevate 1. I’m across the border and waiting for my protein supplement to get delivered. I might start the plan without it anyway, but I want to stick to it as closely as possible.

Her supplements are excellent. I currently take her BCAA and Tru her. I’m waiting on the vegan protein shake to arrive. Once you start her work out, you will be please with your results. It will get better day by day. Just remember nutrition is your best friend

Thanks for the encouragement, Wanda! I’m grateful that the plan has the nutrition covered too.

Tawanda, I’m so sorry to read this. I can’t imagine losing my Dad. It’s something I don’t like to think about. I know movement can be therapy. It’s not the complete answer, but it can play a powerful role in healing and just releasing those emotions. It’s an amazing thing that you are moving. You may also wish to utilize the Elevate journal provided as a way to further release and process through those emotions. It’s a big resource and you can find it under the “resources” tab. We are here to support you. Best wishes on this journey. ❤️
