Taking Progress Photos
When beginning your fitness journey or starting a new program, one thing we often suggest is taking progress photos. This can seem daunting to some, especially if you’re not pleased with where you are physically, but it is so helpful along the way. Oftentimes, it’s hard to see the little changes that are happening every day, since you look at yourself every day. We’ve seen it time and time again where warriors are discouraged because they don’t think they’re making any progress, but then they take progress photos and compare with their starting photos and notice a lot of change! Here are a few tips for taking photos:
-Take front, side, and back angles
-Wear something where you can see your waist and figure, like leggings/shorts and a sports bra
-Take photos in good lighting with a plain background
-If you don’t have someone to take photos for you, use the selfie mode and timer setting on your phone.
-Take photos every 2-4 weeks throughout a program
