Question 5: IR/ER Femurs
Can we IR/ER the femurs?
Lying on your back and keeping one foot on a wall, flex the other hip to 90°
While keeping the knee bent at 90°, rotate the flexed hip’s femur internally
Rotate the flexed hip’s femur externally
Repeat on the other hip and compare IR and ER amongst the sides
Does one hip contain more internal or external range of motion than the other?
