Massy’s Go-To Smoothie Recipe: SUPERCHARGE your energy levels, libido, brain and fight inflammation

Hey ladies, I have been so excited to share this one with you. I have been supercharging my smoothies and for months now I have been feeling incredible because of it. I know we consume protein mostly to recover and build muscle, but what if we can supercharge our smoothies to have nutrient density with powerful antioxidants that will help with more than just building muscle.

This recipe will not only curve your hunger and sweet tooth, but will provide increased energy levels throughout the day. I have put together some measurements that are great for daily consumption, but you can change the measurements to fit your needs. If you have noticed, some of the ingredients here mimic our multivitamin HER which we made to provide you with all your vitamin needs, but also help you regulate your hormones.

This combination of ingredients tastes chocolatey, rich and thick. If you prefer your smoothies to be on the thinner side, add some more chilled water while blending. 

Supercharging Properties

TRU Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein – This flavor of protein is delicious, and the peanut butter makes the smoothie thick and satisfying. Our protein is plant-based and low in sugar, making it perfect for reaching my protein requirements.

Cinnamon– Cinnamon is rich in antioxidants and helps the body to use glucose more effectively, which helps to regulate blood sugar. It’s also anti-inflammatory awhile boosting cognitive activity.

Walnuts– Walnuts are a superfood with omega-3 fatty acids that are great for brain health and provide sustained energy. They’re high in iron, magnesium, B vitamins, copper and are beneficial for gut health.

Chia Seeds– Chia seeds are rich in minerals, antioxidants and fiber. They can lower blood pressure and regulate blood pressure while adding protein and balancing blood sugar levels.

Maca– Maca contains flavonoids which improve mood and reduce anxiety. It also increases libido and improves reproductive health in both men and women.

Cacao Nibs– Cacao nibs are great for blood flow and grounding. With high amounts of fiber, iron and antioxidants, cacao is a nutritious superfood that improves heart health and a wide array of other health benefits.

Smoothie Ingredients

1 to 2 scoops TRU Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein 

Handful of  chopped walnuts

10-12 oz chilled water

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp maca powder

1 tbsp cacao nibs 

¼ teaspoon of cinnamon powder
